I am an addict of colour, when people view my work and tell me it makes them feel ‘happy’ my job is done! I create abstract imaginings based on years of photographing close up, the amazing and intriguing patterns and textures abundantly found in the natural world. Using dark and light contrast, thin and thick paint, organic shapes and textures, this painting began with random markmaking which grew and flourished layer after layer creating this final abundance of colourful happiness.

An original acrylic painting on 38mm deep canvas, 40 by 48 inch (approx 102cm by 122cm). The edges are painted white and the painting comes signed and ready to hang.
